Outer Zone Overnight® is now an unincorporated proprietary club.
Due to certain restrictions placed on registered non-profit corporations and excessive mandated annual collections placed on corporations within California, as well as blockades encountered in the quest for Federal non-profit status, Outer Zone Overnight® has abandoned the pursuit of Federal and State non-profit status, and will now conduct itself as a business based on private membership. Outer Zone Overnight® is now an unincorporated proprietary club. These changes have gone into effect as of October 31, 2013. These changes were enacted to preserve the organization, and its mission, and provide for the originally conceived organization spirit. We are returning to our roots in order to better serve our active membership, meaning that the organization is about the ideas and values of the people who participate in it, and that the organization is a living entity, which grows and evolves.
